Scary hand & foot pumpkins!

What you need:
paper plates
paint
pipe cleaners

I did most of the work on these but you can have you littles paints the plate and make the spider web themselves too.

Start out with a paper plate.

Paint it orange!

Add a spider web.

I used sliver for the spider, but I think a dark purple would be cute too.

White for the ghost.

Add eyes, words and a web string for you spider. Only ghost float in the air! :)

Here are our 1st three!
Almost done.

Lastly I added a green pipe cleaner as the stem of the pumpkin so I can be hung on the wall!

I may add the kids names and Halloween 2013 to them around the edge as well.

The kids really thought these were neat.

The itsy bitsy spider!

A craft I made with my daycare kids today. Everyone seemed to love it. We spent more time doing this than I thought. I spent very little money on the project, and the kids spent a little over an hour to finish, this may be one of my favorites.

WHAT YOU NEED:
CUPS
PAINT
GOOGLY EYES
PIPE CLEANERS

You can do so many different things with the pain and legs the possibilities are endless!

This one ended up with 16 legs!

I had 4 and 3 year olds do this and most of them could push the pipe clean through the cup without help. So of them need a little help a first and then could do it all by themselves!

Somebody glued the eyes on by themselves when I wasn't looking, a good job. Maybe I will let them glue them alone...

She was very proud of her 16 legged spider!

A few more to finish drying. :)

Tomorrow we are going to make a big web to display them in!
